Stand on the edge of the world with the Lysefjord at your feet.

Join My Adventures Travel for an exclusive, private journey to Preikestolen (The Pulpit Rock), Norway’s most iconic natural landmark. This isn’t just a hike; it’s a premium, door-to-door experience designed for those who value comfort, local expertise, and the luxury of time.

A Seamless, Stress-Free Start

Your day begins with a private pick-up directly from your hotel, Airbnb, or cruise ship pier in Stavanger. You’ll bypass the crowded shuttle buses and fixed schedules. Your private guide is there to ensure your comfort from the very first minute.

The Journey Through Engineering Marvels

The adventure starts long before we hit the trail. Relax on a scenic 40-minute drive as we traverse Ryfast, the world’s longest and deepest subsea road tunnel. As we dive 292 meters below sea level, your guide will share fascinating stories about the region’s history—from ancient Viking sagas to the modern feats of engineering you are witnessing.

The Ascent: Tailored to Your Pace

At the trailhead, we begin the 4-kilometer trek through some of Norway’s most spectacular terrain. With an elevation gain of roughly 400 hightmeters, the trail offers a moderate but rewarding challenge. You’ll navigate impressive stone staircases handcrafted by Nepalese Sherpas and cross scenic mountain marshes on wooden boardwalks.

Because this is a private experience, we offer a high degree of flexibility. While we adapt the pace to accommodate everyone in your booking, our guides ensure a safe, enjoyable, and educational trek. Your guide will point out local flora and share insights into how the Great Ice Age carved these dramatic fjords.

The Summit Experience & Local Flavors

Reaching the 604-meter high plateau is a moment of pure awe. While the views are world-famous, we help you find the best photo opportunities and seek out quieter spots away from the main crowds to fully appreciate the silence.

To celebrate your achievement, your guide will serve local refreshments—traditional Norwegian cookies and fresh juice—to enjoy while you soak in the 360-degree views of the Lysefjord. We also provide a high-quality local lunch, allowing you to refuel while perched high above the water.

A Relaxed Return

After soaking in the views, we begin the descent. The return walk often reveals hidden viewpoints and perspectives missed on the way up. Once back at the vehicle, you can sit back and rest your legs as we drive you directly back to your preferred location in Stavanger, arriving approximately 5 hours after departure.
